number of times that Christ was actually seen following his resurrection and the significance these sightings have for our beliefs as Christians.  The third part of the class will review the evidence in support of Christ’s resurrection in relation to some of the counter claims put forth by those outside the Church who would try to cast doubt upon the truth of the resurrection.

Justification by the Faith of Christ

Sundays

9:45am-10:45am

Galatians 2:16

Upstairs Classroom

#3

Course completion of Christianity 101, 201, & 301

Through this study, the book of Galatians, makes it clear that sinners are not saved by sinner's faith in any frame of reference, except in the limited sense of believing in Christ as a prerequisite of assimilation into Him. The vital and all-pervading theme of Galatians is that of the Law of Moses vs. the Law of Christ, with its outcome of Justification by the Faith of Christ.  The Christian freedom proclaimed in the name of this epistle is true to the extent that it is understood as freedom from the burdens, ceremonies and all other externals of the Law of Moses.
